Yulia Brodskaya


Yulia Brodskaya was born in Russia (Moscow); prior to moving to the UK in 2004 she was interested in diverse creative practices ranging from Textile Painting, Origami and Collage to more traditional Fine Art practices. Following an MA in Graphic Communication she continued to experiment and explore ways of bringing together all the things she likes most: typography, paper, and highly detailed hand-made craft objects. She has swiftly earned an international reputation for her innovative paper illustrations and continues to create beautifully detailed paper designs for clients all around the world.

The Puppet Show

The puppet show, photos of real children modified to look like puppets, which is a project by the well known photographers, Winker and Noah. They present children from two to eight in their natural state and retouching them to look like puppets.








Fallen Princesses

Vancouver photographer Dina Goldstein - specialising in commercial, editorial, magazine and portrait photography.
The photographs try to show the realistic outcome of Fairy Tale characters in modern day scenarios by replacing the happily ever after with current issues by creating a conflict and shock.












Experimental Typographers



Experimental Typography based upon the lyrics of Guns N Roses song, Civil War. The is about stopping all the killing that goes on in todays world.


A typographic news explorer by Brendan Dawes. Doodle Buzz is a new way to read the news through an experimental interface that allows you to create typographic maps of current news stories.



Lyrics from the song called Disturbed -I'm Alive. The text runs through the page by expressing and bringing out the important words of the song try to make the viewer understand the meaning behind the text.



David Carson is an American graphic designer. He is best known for his innovative magazine design, and use of experimental typography. He was the art director for the magazine Ray Gun. Carson was perhaps the most influential graphic designer of the nineties.

An experimental typographic piece exploring ways of creating three-dimensional letter forms from two-dimensional materials.
The sentence draws the importance of shredding personal details to avoid identity fraud. The undulating pattern at the bottom of the piece shows an abstract cityscape, the scene of the crime.

Rob Ryan



Rob Ryan is a visual artist specializing in paper-cutting and screen-printing. His artwork has featured in Vogue, and he has collaborated with fashion designer Paul Smith.He has illustrated book and album covers, including John Connolly's novel The Book of Lost Things, Erasure's album Nightbird, Chambers Lost Crafts by Una McGovern and Dara Horn's novel The World to Come.

I find his work amazing and really inspiring, it can be evolved in different areas of art and design (fashion,graphic design, print-making, illustration). He has a different and unique approach of expressing his ideas, poems andstory telling.
